Skin Care Routines

Did you know that your skin is the largest organ in the body?  This is one of the reasons why it's so essential to incorporate twice daily, a skincare routine into your list of healthy habits. An easy way to remember can be by treating your skincare routine like it's a meal.  If you're hungry, you aren't going to forget to eat, you're going to give your body the nutrients it needs to go about your day feeling good and energized.

The skin is constantly exposed to the sun and many harmful pollutants,  and sometimes once the damage is done; it can be hard to reverse.

If you are new to incorporating skincare into your routine, a basic routine only consists of two steps.  Those two steps would be to cleanse and moisturize.  The importance of having a good cleanser that compliments your skin type is to remove any oil, dirt, debris, and makeup you encounter throughout your day. The importance of having a good moisturizer is because it acts as a barrier between your skin and the environmental pollutants that can harm it.  There are also other products like masks and serums that you can apply to your skin based on your skin type and the specific things you are trying to target.

There are many benefits to having a skincare routine, and once you establish it, it is easier to maintain and understand.  Following a routine will help boost your self-confidence because when you look good you also feel good.  It also slows down the signs of aging, and the results can be very dramatic if you keep up with it.
